functioning guy

I have extended admired the paintings of Ralph Fasanella (1914 – 1997), who is identified as the artist of the functioning gentleman. How fitting that he was born on Labor Working day. Previously mentioned my desk, I have a print of his painting, \The Wonderful Strike, Lawrence – 1912\ (noticed here beneath.) It portrays the textile strike of 1912 in which thousands of men and women from several ethnic backgrounds arrived jointly and participated in a strike, picketing in Lawrence, Massachusetts.
