After one or two weeks, female plants will start to show white hairs from the base of their branches while the male cannabis plants will show no hairs during this stage. Get rid of them as soon as possible, if you want to obtain high yield and high tetrahydrocannabinol content from the buds. Buds that have been pollinated can be smoked. However, it cannot give you as high THC content that you expect from the marijuana strain.
